Assembly Operative – High-End Products
Location: Chichester, West Sussex
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Monday – Thursday, 7:00am – 5:00pm
Contract: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Transport: Own transport essential due to rural location
The Role
We are looking for an experienced Assembly Operative to join a high-quality manufacturing environment based in a rural location near Chichester.
The ideal candidate will have previous assembly experience, ideally within a manufacturing or high-end production environment. You will be working with quality products where accuracy, attention to detail and precision are essential.
You will need to be confident working from drawings and technical instructions, have a good understanding of measurements and be comfortable working with numbers and calculations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble high-end products accurately and to a high standard
- Work from drawings, diagrams and detailed assembly instructions
- Measure components and check dimensions accurately
- Carry out calculations and measurements as part of the assembly process
- Use a range of hand and power tools
- Ensure all products meet the required quality and finish
- Identify and report any discrepancies or quality issues
- Follow detailed production and quality procedures
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Work efficiently to meet production deadlines
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
About You
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Previous assembly or manufacturing experience
- Experience working with high-end, quality-focused products would be advantageous
- Ability to confidently read and understand drawings and technical information
- Good understanding of measurements, numbers and basic calculations
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good practical and hand skills
- Experience using hand and power tools
- A methodical and quality-focused approach
- Reliable and hardworking attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Pride in producing work to a high standard
Essential
Own transport is essential due to the rural location and limited public transport.

Monday – Thursday, 7:00am – 5:00pm
