Futures Recruitment are actively searching for a Customer Operational Intelligence Officer to play a vital role in shaping how we use data and insight to inform our decision making, measure our impact and performance, identify and explore opportunities for continuous improvement. We are at the beginning of a journey to transition our monthly BI reporting from Microsoft Excel to PowerBI and building automated data processes.

This position will be hybrid working with a combination of working from home and working from the office .

About you:

  • As a key member of the Customer Operational Intelligence Team, working on all aspects of customer data and analysis, you will have the opportunity to develop subject matter expertise in one or more areas of the function (Contact Centre, Libraries, Coroners and Registrations Services).
  • You will be experienced in producing and updating automated business performance data products, including reports and dashboards, as well as experience of using Microsoft PowerBI or similar and Excel to advanced level.
  • You will have a good understanding of data structure and the ability to rebuild reports from Excel into PowerBI, mapping relationships and using DAX functions.
  • You need a to be committed to your own professional development, with a natural curiosity and a willingness to learn about new services and processes.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

  • Educated to RQF Level 3 (A-level) or equivalent evidenced by extensive experience.
  • Expert level of knowledge using Microsoft PowerBI and Excel to analyse and present data.
  • Expert knowledge of reporting software and experience using to automate the reporting of data.
  • Experience of working with senior leaders, presenting information to deliver change.
  • Ideally have experience of working within a political environment.
