Futures Recruitment Services is supporting their client based in Littlehampton with the very rare recruitment needed to expand the production workforce.
We are seeking Production Assemblers to join a highly skilled team where you will be taken on to become part of this highly successful production team. The team is all hard working and supportive of each other and strives to deliver on the production targets set through the business.
The Production Assembler role includes the following duties;
- Calibration of instrumentation in line with departmental standards and procedures.
- Building an effective working knowledge of instruments and accessories
- Investigating and responding to problems found during build/calibration
- PCB handling/assembly
- Precision soldering
- Use of electronic and hydraulic test/calibration equipment
- Cable preparation
- Working with a bill of materials, works, and test instructions
- Packing
- Working within a team assembling electro-mechanical instruments from the component level
- Assembling and inspecting test kits
Key skills required for the Production Assembler;
- The role requires strong attention to detail and highly dexterous workers to complete small builds.
- Good attitude to teamwork
- Experience with electronic or hydraulic equipment
- Investigating instruments/calibration knowledge is desired
- Precision soldering - Essential
