Job Purpose
We are seeking reliable and hardworking Refuse Collectors to join our waste and recycling team in Chichester. This is a physically demanding outdoor role, supporting essential community services in all weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities

Collect household and commercial waste and recycling from designated routes

Load refuse and recycling into collection vehicles safely and efficiently

Work as part of a crew to complete daily routes on schedule

Follow health and safety procedures at all times

Report any issues with waste bins, routes, or vehicles

Maintain a professional and courteous attitude with the public
Working Conditions

Physically demanding role involving lifting, carrying, and walking for long periods

Work is outdoors in all weather conditions (rain, heat, cold, etc.)

Standing and walking for the duration of the shift
