Refuse Collector – Chichester
We are currently recruiting Refuse Collectors to join our team working in the Chichester area.
This is a physically demanding, hands-on role suited to individuals who are reliable, hardworking, and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collecting household and commercial waste as part of a team
- Loading refuse and recycling onto collection vehicles
- Working efficiently to complete daily routes
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
- Assisting the driver and team to maintain smooth operations
Requirements
- Good level of physical fitness (heavy lifting involved)
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Able to work early morning starts
- Must have own transport or live locally due to start times (no public transport available)
- Ability to work well as part of a team
Working Hours & Pay
- 5 days per week
- Early morning starts
- Overtime available at weekends
