Job Title: Seamstress – Bespoke Blind Manufacturing
We are currently recruiting an experienced Seamstress to join our skilled and growing production team, specialising in the manufacture of high-quality bespoke blinds.
Due to continued business growth, we are expanding our workforce and looking for an experienced individual who takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work.
Role Overview
You will be responsible for the hand making and sewing of bespoke blinds using industrial sewing machines. The role involves working with a variety of fabrics and materials, ensuring each product is finished to a high standard and meets customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate industrial sewing machines safely and efficiently
- Sew and assemble bespoke blinds to specification
- Work with a variety of fabrics and materials
- Follow technical drawings and production instructions
- Ensure high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
- Carry out quality checks on finished products
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
- Work as part of a skilled and supportive production team
Requirements
- Previous recent experience in a seamstress or sewing machinist role is essential
- Confident using industrial sewing machines
- Experience working with various fabrics and materials
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Ability to work to production targets and deadlines
- Reliable, punctual, and team-focused
Working Hours
- Day shift: Monday to Thursday
- Friday working available for additional hours (optional overtime)
