Futures Recruitment Services are working alongside our client in the Financial Services industry seeking a Transfer Agency Administrator. The opportunity is a new role, you will play a pivotal role in the establishment of a centralised Transfer Agency function within an existing accounting team reporting to the Financial Reporting Manager.

Main Responsibilities for a Transfer Agency Administrator:

  • Responsible for acting as the main point of contact for UK Real Assets Transfer Agency queries received from internal and external parties, including audit queries.
  • Responsible for co-ordinating and processing capital calls and income/capital distributions including managing timetables.
  • Responsible for co-ordinating and processing investor subscription and redemption requests, ensuring these meet the requirements set out within the funds constitutional documents and ensuring appropriate liaison with the client, as needed.
  • Facilitate chasing of outstanding settlements, as agreed with the client, ensuring relevant and up-to-date records are maintained throughout.
  • Responsible for the resolution of adhoc requests from clients and investors/agents, including the requirement for adhoc mailings, copy notices and holding/valuation statements.
  • Liaise with the internal AML team, as required, to assist with client liaison when periodic refreshes are required from an AML and due diligence perspective.
  • Responsible for ensuring investor AML/KYC reviews are completed and approved during new client onboarding.
  • Responsible for monitoring the receipt of registration change documents, liaising with the internal AML team and client, as required, and processing relevant system updates.
  • Review the existing Transfer Agency processes noted above, to identify opportunities for improving process, consistency and efficiencies as this function passes across from the existing team to this newly created role.
  • Working along with the Accounts Receivable Administrator and Governance and Administration Manager to review fee rates/proposals for Transfer Agency related activities as required.
  • Responsible for liaising with the Client Onboarding Administrator and Financial Reporting Managers to agree the content of Service Level Agreements implemented whilst onboarding new clients.

Skills & Knowledge for a Transfer Agency Administrator:

  • Prior experience in a Transfer Agency, Transfer Agency Oversight or Accounting role incorporating these activities is required.
  • An understanding of terminology/functions such as AML/KYC, CDD. KIIDs & PRIPPS is required.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are required to develop positive close working relationships with colleagues and clients.
  • Computer literacy skills are essential. Experience with Transfer Agency software, particularly Yardi and/or eFront is an advantage but not essential.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail is required.
