Funeral Operative – Full Time 

Basingstoke Based

Futures Recruitment Services Ltd is currently recruiting a Funeral Operative for a Family run funeral directors and monumental masons based in Basingstoke. We are seeking a very special person to join our friendly team in the rewarding and fulfilling position of Funeral Operative.

Requirements:

• Used to hard work but a rewarding role.
• Lives in Basingstoke 
• previous outdoor work experience 
• no experience needed 
• Reliable & trustworthy
• Good problem-solving skills

Responsibilities:

• Going to funerals as a Bearer
• Receive the deceased from the place of death
• Provide required respect & care to the deceased
• Be available for out-of-office/night-time/weekend call-outs
• Complete paperwork & other relevant duties
• Act in a professional & courteous manner

Salary: The basic salary is £24,843.00 per year, plus £46.11 for each full week on call and £40.17 per call out, out of hours. Hourly rate is paid for extra hours worked. From previous experience, it is expected that at least around £4k - £5k can be earned on top of basic once all overtime and call-out pay are added
